APPLICATION
Malech is used as a primer to regulate substrate absorption and as an adhesion enhancer for wall surfaces in general (e.g. concrete or repairs with cement mortars), before a colored finish coat from the Elastocolor, Quarzolite and Colorite ranges is applied to it. Malech can also be used within the Aquaflex System, a system for the permanent encapsulation of asbestos, as a primer for subsequent Aquaflex coatings.
Application examples
- As a primer on well cured new or old plaster, provided it is not corroded, before applying a colored finishing coat from the Elastocolor, Quarzolite or Colorite ranges.
- As a primer on old paintwork, even if slightly powdery, before applying a colored finish from the Elastocolor, Quarzolite or Colorite ranges.
- As a primer on surfaces to be treated in enclosed or poorly ventilated areas – due to the fact that Malech is odorless – before applying a product from the Elastocolor, Quarzolite or Colorite ranges.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
Malech is a primer based on micronized acrylic resins in aqueous dispersion that penetrates deeper into the substrate after application than traditional water-based primers. Malech is odorless and contains no solvents. Therefore, it is also applicable in closed or poorly ventilated spaces. Thanks to its special formula, Malech provides a good fixation of dust on surfaces to be treated. Malech penetrates deeply into the substrate, thereby slowing down the formation of rashes.
CONSUMPTION
0.10-0.15 kg/m2, depending on the suction of the substrate.
